If you let us know about your fears early on, we will make certain you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your visit.Tell Us Specifics “I'm afraid of the dentist” is a very broad statement. What specifically are you afraid of? Many people are afraid of the pain, which is understandable. But visiting us isn't always a painful experience. We're not out to hurt you. For others, it may be a fear of having strange tools and objects in their mouths. Some people may be afraid of what's going to be done to them. By talking about your specific fears, we will be able to know how to help you overcome them. While sometimes pain does occur, we can talk to you about those instances and what you can expect. We will go over every single process and step we're taking so you know what's going to happen. We can even take it slow the first few times until you adjust to having someone working in your mouth. It's an odd feeling, and it takes a little getting used to! Don't be afraid of us—we're here to help you, not cause fear and panic. Give us a call today to discuss your fears and how we can help you overcome them. |
